Academic Staff
I am a photograph conservator with a PhD on the conservation of photographic materials. I have 20 years of experience in the preservation and restoration of photographic materials. In the past, I have coordinated conservation projects and teams working on cataloguing, conservation treatment and digitization of photographs from several institutions such as DGEMN, IPCR, and private clients.
I have also designed and lectured several workshops on Photograph Conservation and Restoration and Identification of Photographic Processes. Currently, I am an Invited Assistant Professor at DCR FCT NOVA and co-founder of NEON Art Conservation Lda., a company dedicated to the conservation of modern and contemporary materials.
