Sara Marques is a research fellow at LAQV-REQUIMTE. Her work is focused on the application of liquid chromatography and flow-based techniques to set new and orthogonal methods to characterize nanoparticles for drug delivery, namely for the evaluation of nanoparticles' encapsulation efficiency and quantity.
SM graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences (FFUP) in 2014 and finished her PhD on Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology Applied to Health Sciences in 2020 (ICBAS, UP).
SM is co-author of 15 publications resulting from her research activities in analytical method development for several bio-applications such as analysis of nanoformulations, monitoring of drug´s cellular permeation, and evaluation of antioxidant capacity in biological samples.
