Maria da Graça P. M. S. Neves is Associate Professor with Habilitation (invited) at the Department of Chemistry, University of Aveiro, Portugal. . Her research interests are focused on the development of new synthetic methodologies to prepare and functionalize porphyrins and analogues. Through interdisciplinary connections she is also interested in studying the potential of the synthesized compounds in various areas like photodynamic therapy of tumors, photoinactivation of microorganisms, development of supramolecular systems, sensing, dyes for solar, catalyse etc. She belongs to the editorial board of International Journal of Photoenergy, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Dyes and Pigments and of special issues in Molecules.
