Hélio M. T. Albuquerque is a post-doc fellow at LAQV-REQUIMTE (Aveiro) within the "pAGE - Protein aggregation across the lifespan" project. His current research responsibilities include the development of steroid-based chemical chaperones for protein aggregation related diseases. He also has been interested in the development of new catalysts/methodologies for C-H activation of natural products. The research outputs encompass 12 original research papers, several oral communications both in national and international meetings. Currently, he also supervising one Biochemistry master student, and co-supervising a small team of graduation students.
