Sarah A.P. Pereira received her MSc degree in Quality Control from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto in 2018. She is currently in the third year of her Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the same University in collaboration with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Her PhD project is entitled “Development of new drugs that modulate the tumor environment based on a rational approach." Her main research activity is focused in developing automatic systems, mainly sequential injection analysis (SIA) and lab-on-valve (LOV), to evaluate the activity of ionic liquids and other pharmaceutical compounds in enzymes activity.
