Renata Matos graduated in Chemistry, in 2017, at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. In 2019, she received her master’s degree in Chemistry from the same institution. Currently, she is a PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry. Her master’s dissertation was focused on the preparation and characterization of photo/electrocatalysts. She participated in three extracurricular internships at LAQV/REQUIMTE. In 2020, she worked at LAQV/REQUIMTE as researcher, developing functional textiles. Her research interests have been focused on the chemistry of materials, functionalization of (nano)materials and photo/electrocatalysis. Lately, her interest is mainly focused on nanomaterials and hybrid nanomaterials for electrocatalysis.
