Cátia V. Almeida Santos finished her degree in Biochemistry in 2012 at FCTNOVA. In 2013, joined the research group of Doctor Maria Marques in the same institution, focusing her research interests in carbohydrate chemistry and glycopeptide solid-phase synthesis. A year later she obtained her M.Sc. degree in Bioorganic. In 2015, she joined the research group of Doctor Mariana Pinho in the ITQB NOVA for four months. In the same year, returned to the research group of Doctor Maria Marques in the FCTNOVA working until 2017.
Is currently a PhD student in sustainable chemistry, working under the supervision of Professor Marco Gomes Da Silva, at FCTNOVA and Professor Maria João Cabrita at Universidade de Évora.
