Ana Rita Pereira graduated in Chemistry at University of Porto in 2016 and obtained her master´s degree in Clinical and Analytical Forensic Toxicology in 2018 at Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Porto. She recently became a member of LAQV-REQUIMTE with a mater fellow in Food Polyphenol Lab group, and at the moment, Ana Rita Pereira is a PhD student in the Sustainable Chemistry Doctoral Programme of LAQV-REQUIMTE. Her research project consists on the extraction of different classes of polyphenols from vineyard and winery residues for the encapsulation and stabilization of anthocyanin-derivates and pyranoflavyliums compounds in food matrices for the development of new products (Functional Foods).
