Alexandre Viana graduated in Chemistry in 2017, at Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto (FCUP). He finished his MSc in Chemistry in 2019 at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of FCUP – Associated Laboratory REQUIMTE-LAQV, with a thesis under the theme ‘Metal-Organic Frameworks Derived Materials for Sustainable Catalytic Processes’, with supervision from Dr. Luís Cunha-Silva. Currently, he is working on his PhD around the theme 'Valorization of glycerol to value-added products by novel gold@metal-organic framework catalysts', under supervision of Dr. Salete Balula and Dr. Luís Cunha-Silva.
