Position
PhD student

She has graduated in Pharmacy in 2012 and concluded her Master's degree in Biochemistry applied to Health - Specialization in Biotechnology in 2014 at the ESS-IPP. Currently, she is a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Specialization in Analytical Chemistry at the FFUP. Her PhD project is mainly focused on the development and implementation of automatic strategies for sample pre-treatment, especially biological samples, using a lab-on-valve platform with an online connection to electrospray tandem mass spectrometry, fostering multidimensional detection. She works in the development of chromatographic methods using different types of detection (UV-Vis and MS) for the quantification of various analytes in different types of samples.
