Researcher
Understanding biological barriers and finding (nano)ways of overcoming them are the main research interests of Catarina Pereira Leite (CPL). Her PhD on membrane biophysics have paved the way for starting a research line on membrane biophysics and nanotechnology in CBIOS@ULusófona in collaboration with LAQV.
Overall, CPL is co-author of 13 peer-reviewed publications in international journals (h-index of 7), 1 book chapter and more than 50 communications on scientific meetings.
