Elena Surra (ES) is a Researcher responsible for the sustainability research line at REQUIMTE/LAQV and has a PhD in Energy and Bioenergy (2019). She participated as a member in 10 national and international R&D projects with the role of Sustainability expert to support and drive the research choices at REQUIMTE-LAQV towards environmental sustainability. She published 14 papers indexed in the WoS and 1 book chapter. ES's area of expertise is focused on Life Cycle Analysis, Life Cycle Cost, and Economic Analysis. She Supervised 5 Master Thesis and 2 international internships. She won with the ViNe2Fuel team, Bib Proof 2022/2023 Prize for innovation at Porto University.
