(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

I start my contract, FCT Investigator in January of 2017 as auxiliary researcher. One of the principal aims, was to synthesize new and biocompatible ionic liquids (ILs) that dissolve poorly water soluble drugs and use ILs as co-solvents (excipients).
I published 30 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, 9 of which as first author, and 4 patents (1 of them international). The total number of citations is 1217 and the h-index is 20 (source: scopus). 70% of the papers are in the top 25%-Q1 journals.
I am member of team in three projects from FCT, PTDC/EQU-EQU/32050/2017, PTDC/BTA-BTA/31106/2017 and PTDC/FIS-MAC/28157/2017, essentially because of my expertise in synthesis of ionic liquids.
