Position
Researcher
S. Gago graduated in Education of Physics and Chemistry in 2001 (University of Evora) and completed her PhD degree in Chemistry in 2006 (University of Aveiro, CICECO). During the period 2006-2010 she was Post Doc researcher in the same unity. Since 2010, she is integrated in LAQV-REQUIMTE Research Centre in "Cultural Heritage and Responsive Materials" group, (CHARM, also known as Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Group) as Assistant Researcher. Her research interests comprise design of new functional materials based on mesoporous silica and magnetic nanoparticles for application in oxidative desulfurization, drug delivery, electrochromic devices and for hydrogen generation from photocatalytic water splitting.
