The 10th edition of the Theoretical Biophysics Symposium (TheoBio 2026)  will be held from 18th-22nd October 2026, at the Hotel Meliá Madeira Mare in Funchal (Madeira Island, Portugal).

TheoBio is a long-standing symposium that brings together leading researchers covering a broad spectrum of topics in theoretical biophysics and theoretical & computational biochemistry/biology.

After the successful tradition of TheoBio symposiums held in Donostia, Örebro, Cetraro, Roscoff, Funchal and Cagliari, the TheoBio 2026 edition will host over 40 talks from influential researchers performing research in the modeling of complex biomolecular processes, from protein dynamics and engineering, to enzyme reactivity and drug design/kinetics. You can also expect selected invited talks by leading experimentalists, in an effort to tighten the bond between theory and experiment.
