The PhD programme in Sustainable Chemistry totals 180 credits (ECTS); most correspond to the PhD thesis (150 ECTS) and the remaining 30 ECTS correspond to curricular units distributed in core and specific training. The program has a duration of 3 academic years (based upon adequate justification, an extension may be granted).
Each student in the first semester of the 1st year of the PhD programme follows a period of intensive training during 12 weeks. At the end of the first semester the students will present their PhD work plan to a scientific commission nominated by the direction of PhD programme.
In the 2nd semester of the 1st year the students will start working on their PhD work plan.

M3. Methods of Molecular and Macromolecular Characterization, 3 week, 6 ECTS
Thesis Project, 12 ECTS
E. Free Option (any curricular unit of the 3rd cycle of an Associated University), 3 ECTS
