Position
Researcher
Susana Rebelo obtained her PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Aveiro in 2004 and since 2008 she is an integrated researcher at LAQV/REQUIMTE – FCUP. Her current research interests include the development of biomimetic catalysts, valorization of compounds obtained from renewable sources; photocatalysis, supramolecular structures and functional carbon materials. During her scientific career, she published in the areas of catalysis, materials, organic, photo- and green chemistry. She is the author of 3 book chapters and she developed a patented process for the eco sustainable production of indigo dye. Her publications gather 1752 citations and h-index 26. She was also awarded with the Dow Portugal Prize.
