Researcher
Inês Maria Valente graduated in Chemistry at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto in 2007, completed a MSc in Chemistry in the same institution in 2008 and in 2014 has completed a PhD degree in Sustainable Chemistry in University of Porto and New University of Lisbon. From 2014 to 2019, she was a Post-doc fellow at the Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry (REQUIMTE/LAQV). Since march 2019 she is a researcher at REQUIMTE/LAQV, contracted within the Scientific Employment Stimulus of FCT. Her main research interests are in the interface area of animal nutrition and analytical chemistry, focusing her work on the study of biomarkers for the diagnose of digestive and metabolic diseases in ruminants.
