Márcia Ventura got her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2008 and since then she have been worked at LAQV-REQUIMTE at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, first as Post Doc researcher with a fellowship from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia and lately as doctorate researcher developing work with a strong component in synthesis and characterization of materials.
Since 2016 she is a member of the research group Materials for Adsorption and Catalysis (MAC) with work developed on the synthesis of porous materials based on natural polymers for application in catalysis and drug delivery.
