PhD Researcher at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP). Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry (2019) and a Master's degree in Application in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology (2022), both from FCUP. Her work focuses on phytopathology, namely exploring new sustainable molecules to control plant bacterial diseases and insect pests. Her PhD project is focused on deciphering the epidemiology of the phytopathogenic bacteria Erwinia amylovora and exploring molecular mechanisms driving environmental adaptation, whilst developing reliable early on field detection mechanisms to the disease.
