Isabel Coelhoso is Associate Professor with Habilitation in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCTNOVA), Portugal in the areas of Transport Phenomena and Separation Processes.
Her research interests are related to membrane separation processes, membrane contactors for process intensification and the design of biopolymer membranes for biotechnology, food and health applications.
Has participated in 21 research projects (national, with industry, European). Invited expert for projects evaluation: EU- PRIMA, FCT- Portugal, ANI, ANEP Agencia Nacional de Evaluación y Prospectiva –Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad- Spain, UQ- Australia, RGC Hong Kong SAR, China.
