I have published 107 papers with an accumulated impact factor of 460. My work has accumulated 4407 citations and an h-index of 38. I am the corresponding author in 47 of them. I have completed the supervision of 73 researchers and currently, supervise 3 Junior Investigators, 3 PhD students, 2 Master's students and 2 research fellowships. During the last 5 years, I have also led 5 research projects: 4 European projects (3 as coordinator (7733 k€, with 1607 k€ for my team) and 1 as Portuguese coordinator with 260 Keuros) and 1 Portuguese from FCT projects (a total of 240 k€ managed). In 2020, I was identified as a thought leader in chemical engineering/applied chemistry (I&EC Research’s 2020 Class of Influential Researchers).
