PhD student
Marta Silva is a Registered Nutritionist, obtained her Bachelor Degree (2016) in Nutritional Sciences from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto, and her Master's Degree (2019) in Quality Control, with specialization in Food and Water, from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto.
Currently a PhD Student in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Nutrition and Food Chemistry specialization, at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto developing her PhD thesis under the theme “Impact of climate stress on plant foods bioactivity: The Xenohormesis and Nutritional Dark Matter Hypothesis”. Her research focuses on the impact of climate stresses on food bioactive compounds and subsequent impact on health through chemical analysis and literature searching techniques.
