Liliana Martelo (LM) did her Master in Chemistry at the University of Coimbra. Afterward, LM gained PhD fellowship from FCT to perform her research at CQFM, Instituto Superior Técnico, U. of Lisbon.
After finishing her PhD with distinction and honor (2016), LM continued to work as a Postdoc at IST.
In 2017 LM gained a Postdoctoral fellowship from FCT and continued to develop her research at CQFM-IST.
Since Sept. 2019, she is a Contracted Researcher in REQUIMTE LAQV under the project Zero-Waste, supervised by Professor Helena Soares.
She published 13 articles, 7 as first author and 4 of them as the corresponding author, 1 chapter of a book as an invited author, 4 patents registered and 7 oral communications in International meetings.
