Inês Matos is Principal researcher at LAQV (CEECInd). Completed the PhD in Eng. Química - Polimerização e Catálise in 2007 by Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico and Licenciatura in Engenharia Quimica in 2001 by Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Works in the area(s) of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Chemical Engineering. Since the PhD has been developing work within the framework of carbon materials and catalysis. In the last years several synthetic and biomass waste derived carbons were obtained and studied, not only in catalysis but also in environmental remediation. Published 57 articles in journals. Has 4 section(s) of books and several conferences communications.
