Susana M. Cardoso holds a graduation in Biochemistry, a Master in Cell Biology and a PhD in Chemistry. She is presently an Assistant Researcher from LAVQ-REQUIMTE, University of Aveiro. Along her research experience, which is focused on the characterization of phytochemicals of natural terrestrial and marine sources, aiming at their valorization, she authored 15 book chapters and 140 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and has more than 200 communications (60 orals) in scientific meetings. She completed the supervision of 2 Doctoral Researchers, 9 PhD students, 25 MSc students, 14 probation research works, 10 pos-graduate, 47 BSc students, and distinct pos-graduate scientific stages at international level (3 Pos-Doc and 18 PhD). She currently supervises 6 PhD students (5 at Nacional level and 1 International).
