Research developed throughout my career is characterized by its multidisciplinarity with the acquisition of competences that range from molecular biology to proteomics. The focus of my Master thesis was the study of immunological alterations in the Drosophila larvae proteome, whereas my PhD focused on the structural characterization of protein post-translational modifications resulting from oxidative and glycoxidative stress. Further PTMs’ investigation on the scope of Allergic Contact Dermatitis was performed through the study of haptenized proteins by Mass Spectrometry during my Post-Doc internship. At the present, as a Junior Investigator, my work is focused on electrophilic stress ‘omic’ characterization.
