Conceição Branco Montenegro (MCBSMM), is a full professor at the Laboratory of Applied Chemistry, Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Porto (FFUP). Ph.D. in Pharmacy (1991). MCBSMM is an expert in Analytical Chemistry and has extensive work in the development of new sensor platforms with electroanalytical detection for food, pharmaceutical, clinical and environmental control. More recently, she also extended her area of expertise looking for new polymeric membranes approaches for retention, separation, applied to clinical, bioanalytical, and environmental concerns.
