Célia G. Amorim is auxiliary professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP), Portugal.
She teaches classes of Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Applied Physics, Instrumental Methods of Analysis and Applied Physics. Her research interests are related to several aspects of automation for analytical control using flow analysis techniques coupled to potentiometric detection, namely chromatography with potentiometric detection. Lately she has been working in the development of semi-permeable polymeric membranes for biological and environmental samples. She is the author of more than 30 scientific publications indexed in the Science Citation Index.
