Assistant Researcher at LAQV@REQUIMTE, Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto (Portugal). PhD in Chemistry (2011) at University of Coimbra. AFP is (co)-author of 64 indexed papers in international scientific periodicals with referees, 6 book chapters, 6 Conference proceedings, 3 magazine papers; and more than 60 communications in national and international scientific conferences (oral and poster). She is PI 2 projects participated/has been participating as team member in other 11 R&D projects. Since 2015 she is co-founder and co-owner of INNOVCAT LDA, a technology-based spin-off of University of Porto. She was awarded with BIP Proof (UPorto inovação) for proof of concept projects with the projects Catalvalor (2018) and Vine2Fuel (2023). She is co-supervising 7 PhD students (2 as supervisor and 2 in non-academic environment) and was/has been collaborating on the co-supervision of MSc students (2 in collaboration with INNOVCAT), 2 erasmus mundus PhD students and 2 post-doc researchers. She is Invited Associated Professor (UC: Green chemistry and sustainable development; Chemistry II) and lecture in Transferable skills: entrepreneurship and communication and Emergency: procedures and practice), at DQB-FCUP, University of Porto. She is also invited lecture (since 2017) in summer school, SoSMSE, Genoa, Italy.AFP is co-editor of a Springer Handbook. She is Member of security committee at DQB-FCUP.
