Eduarda M. P. Silva graduated in Analytical Chemistry in 2002 and completed her MSc degree in Natural Product Chemistry in 2005, at U.Aveiro. Eduarda carried out her PhD studies under the guidance of Prof. Laurence Harwood at University of Reading (UK) graduating in 2009. She then joined the group of Prof. Artur M. S. Silva as a postdoc researcher at U.Aveiro. Later in 2016, she became an assistant researcher at REQUIMTE-U.Porto. She is currently an Assistant Professor at IUCS-CESPU. Eduarda develops her work as an organic chemist and mass spectrometry expert focusing on the development and synthesis of dual MS-FL lipid probes for investigation of biological functions involving lipids.
