Eduarda Fernandes, PharmD (1991), PhD (1996), is Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Applied Chemistry, Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Porto (FFUP), and researcher of the LAQV-REQUIMTE. In 2002, she created a research unit within LAQV-REQUIMTE focused on the development and application of methodologies for thein vitro study of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic properties of natural and synthetic compounds, in non-cellular and cellular models, Free Radicals and Antioxidants Unit - FRAU, which she has been coordinating to the present. Eduarda Fernandes has a vast supervision experience and holds 200+ publications, with 10.300+ citations and a h-index of 50 (Scopus).
